Ch-ch-changes! // Hello, Holland.

Hey you.  How’ve you been?  It has been a while.  Let’s go over the things that have changed since we last spoke.

I’m not living out of a backpack.  I’ll always miss the mobility, but not as much as I missed my guitars. Hooray for feedback!

I live in Ohio again.  Columbus, to be exact. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it’s a pretty good time. Pinky swear.

I am gainfully employed.  ‘Interactive Art Director’ sounds sooo much more fun than ‘unemployed’.  Wait, no it doesn’t.

Whew, glad that’s over with.  Onto the fun stuff.

In approximately 36 hours, I will be in Amsterdam*.  This will be my first venture onto European soil and believe me - stoked is an understatement.  And kind of an odd word.  Anyways, I’m staying with my lovely friend Nicole and meeting up with some of the other kindred souls I met amidst last year’s travels. We’ll be celebrating (1) our good friend Dean’s birthday (yawn) and (2) Koninginnedag, or Queen’s Birthday. Other highlights include a mandatory tour of the Heineken factory, a quick stop at Experimental Jetset, floating down some canals, and yeah, ok, an afternoon or two at a cafe. I hear the coffee’s phenomenal. Wink.

I’m there for a full week so I should have time to update your favorite travel blog once or twice, hopefully with some worthwhile photos and/or video. Vaarwel, wijfjes.
