A few shots from my canoe trip in Wilderness National Park. Muy bien.
Spent an amazing weekend in the coastal town of Wilderness. Activities included canoeing, climbing, hiking, beaching, cheese & wine sunsetting, and baconing (it’s this new thing I do where I eat bacon all the time). Easily my best weekend in SA, and in the running for best weekend-that-didn’t-take-place-in-Athens ever.
Snorkeling with fur seals? Yes, please. These guys are so fast! The water was ice cold (about 10C/50F), but it’s really hard not to have a great time when the seals start tugging on your fins and head-butting you. Cheeky little bastards!

Shark Dive! That’s about 3,500 pounds of shit-your-pants.
Spent a few hours atop Table Mountain today. Easy to see why it was voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Had a great time at the rugby match last night. Might be because I had a front row seat on the 50, might be because rugby is freakin’ awesome.
